Argon

Ar

Argon is one of the most common carrier gases in gas chromatography. Argon is used as a carrier gas in sputtering, plasma etching and ion implantations, and as a blanket atmosphere in crystalgrowth.*Due to market variability and unique gas requirements, we may not be able to provide a fixed pricelist. We warmly invite you to share your gas quantity and packaging requirements, enabling us to tailor a quote for you.

Ar

Argon

The most common source of argon is an air separation plant. Air contains approx. 0.93% (vol.) argon. A crude argon stream containing up to 5% oxygen is removed from the main air separation column via a secondary (“side-arm”) column. The crude argon is then further purified to produce the various commercial grades required. Argon may also be recovered from the exhaust stream of certain ammonia plants.

Application

JINHONG GAS provides high-purity specialty gas solutions for the engineering and construction industries, such as nitrogen, argon, and hydrogen, which are widely used in welding, cutting, concrete curing, and fire protection systems, helping projects improve construction quality and safety efficiency.
Industrial gases are known as the “blood” of industry. Industrial gases are generally in high demand, but do not require high purity.A large amount of industrial gases are required in metallurgy, steel, petroleum, chemical, machinery, electronics, glass, ceramics, building materials, construction, food processing, medicine and medical and other industries,

R&D

The company has R & D center, CNAs laboratory and steel cylinder testing center, with strong independent R & D ability and combination ability of industry, University and research resources. It is a comprehensive solution to create value for customers.

FAQs

We provide high-purity argon gas, with the highest purity reaching 6N (99.9999%). Our customers are in industries such as electronic semiconductors, medical, and research, requiring stable and continuous supply with a high volume of gas demand.

Our argon typically has an MOQ of around 100 cylinders. Single cylinder sales are not accepted.

Certainly. Generally, high-purity gases can be suitable for industries with lower purity requirements, and the purity needed for welding and metal processing industries is not extremely high. However, there is a significant cost difference between high-purity and lower-purity gases, and cost is a crucial factor when choosing the gas that best fits one’s needs.

Certainly. However, due to the extremely low boiling point of liquid argon, which is -195.8 degrees Celsius (-320.4 degrees Fahrenheit), additional considerations for evaporation need to be taken into account during long-distance transportation.

We are a specialized gas supplier, and gases are our primary products. Generally, we can supply argon in cylinders or dewars along with the argon itself. We also accept customers’ tanks or tube trailers for filling at our facility but do not sell any tanks or tube trailers.
